DnD 5e Battle Maps — 84 maps, 252 files, 70px Roll20 grid
A downloadable game
🗺️ Nothing here is called map01. Every one of these 84 maps was drawn for a scene somebody actually wrote.
Eighty-four battle maps from 34 adventures and both campaign books, in three versions each — 252 files, at the scale Roll20 and Foundry expect.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🧭 THAT IS THE WHOLE DIFFERENCE
The big packs have a hundred thousand files and nobody has looked at all of them, including the person selling them.
These have names — The Near Bank · Under the New Cairn · Marrowdown Filling · The Salt Works — because each one belongs to an adventure, and the index tells you which.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
📦 WHAT YOU GET — 84 maps, 252 files
Three versions of every map:
▪ The DM version — areas numbered, the ones the party cannot see from the door marked in red, and a strip along the bottom naming every one of them
▪ The player version with the grid, and the numbers gone
▪ The player version with no grid at all — for a virtual tabletop that draws its own, or for acetate over the top
📖 Plus a 6-page index PDF in A4 and US Letter, naming every map, its size in squares, and the adventure it came from. It is included in every part of the download.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
📐 70 PIXELS TO THE SQUARE
Every map is drawn at 70 px per square, which is what Roll20 and Foundry expect — so it drops in at the right scale without being measured or stretched.
🖨️ At the table: print the player version with the grid at whatever size your printer takes, and keep the DM version in front of you. That is the one with the numbers and the strip telling you what each number is.
💻 On a screen: drag the no-grid version into your virtual tabletop and let it draw its own grid, or use the gridded one as it is.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🔍 FINDING ONE
Open the index, look up the adventure or the map name, and go to the folder.
One folder per adventure, named. Inside it, each map under its own name, with the version in brackets.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
⚖️ IF YOU ALREADY OWN OUR ADVENTURES
Then you already have most of these, and you should know that before you buy. The maps ship with the adventures they belong to.
What is not in the two campaign books: the no-grid version of 82 of them. The Salt Road and The Lowmere Year send the DM and player versions only, so for every map in those two, the gridless one is here and nowhere else. The single adventures do carry all three.
And if you do not own them, this is 84 maps for the price of one adventure.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
✨ THIS IS FOR YOU IF
▪ You want dnd battle maps that look like places, not tiles
▪ You run on Roll20 or Foundry and are tired of resizing every import
▪ You print your maps and need a player version without the DM's numbers on it
▪ You have bought a map pack before and never found anything in it again
▪ You want the gridless version, which most packs do not include
▪ You would rather have 84 maps you can name than 10,000 you cannot
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🚫 WHAT IS NOT IN IT
No tokens, no miniatures, no virtual tabletop module, no dynamic lighting. These are image files, so they go into anything that takes an image — which is everything.
No adventure text either. If you want the scene a map was drawn for, it is in the adventure, and the index tells you which one.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
📜 THE SMALL PRINT
Compatible with Fifth Edition and anything else played on a grid.
⬇️ Instant digital download. Nothing is posted to you.
